Services

Telecommunications, AI tokens, IT, IoT

Four trades that talk to each other: voice travels over IP, artificial intelligence is bought by the token, data is born in sensors and lives in software.

01

VoIP voice traffic

We buy and resell voice-over-IP traffic between carriers, in Italy and internationally. It is the trade Mercurion was founded for: its activity code is 61.20, telecommunications resale and intermediation.

01National and international wholesale voice traffic, to destinations worldwide
02More than 300 carriers with an active interconnection
03More than 50 billion minutes of voice traffic, handled by the team over its career
04For telecom carriers and resellers
05TPI Group’s point of reference for voice over IP
02

AI tokens

Artificial intelligence models are used, and paid for, by the token. Mercurion trades them: it buys model capacity and resells it to companies and developers, pay-as-you-go. Above all, models for voice: calls and voice content.

01Listening: real-time call transcription; who is speaking and in which language, with industry vocabularies
02Speaking: speech synthesis with natural voices, and custom voices only with the person’s written consent
03Answering: voice agents that understand the request, instead of keypad menus; appointments, reminders and automatic call-backs
04Understanding: the call summary written into the customer management system, the reason and outcome, the tone of the conversation
05Checking: quality on every call, not on a sample; nuisance and fraudulent calls recognised
06Translating and producing: the voice translated during the call; podcasts, guides, on-hold messages and announcements
07Usage measured in tokens, paid as you go

AI and IoT

Sensors, data and artificial intelligence applied to everyday work: collecting data where it originates, reading it and turning it into decisions.

AI and IoT · use cases

Where the data starts, what decision comes out

Eight examples of what can be done: what data is collected, where, and what decision it leads to.

Energy in a factory

Sensors on the electrical panels, to shift loads to cheaper hours and find waste.

Solar plants

Inverter output and alarms, to step in before downtime costs money.

Wineries

Temperature and humidity of tanks and barrel rooms, with an alarm before the wine suffers.

Wine in transit

Temperature along the journey, to accept the shipment or document the claim.

Production machinery

Vibration and temperature, to plan downtime instead of suffering a breakdown.

Quality control

Cameras on the line, in plastics and goldsmithing, to reject a part before it is packed.

Offices and hotels

CO₂, temperature and occupancy, to run ventilation and air conditioning only when needed.

Documents

Automatic reading of invoices and delivery notes, with the data in the management system without retyping.

For call centres

Voice and AI for call centres
